Biography
Emmanuel Acquah is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Minority Studies at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies, Åbo Akademi University.
Dr. Acquah’s research focuses on advancing equity in the practice of educator development with a particular focus on teachers of multicultural/multilingual learners. Acquah has published numerous articles and book chapters on this topic in reputable journals. Acquah has vast international networks and contacts. He is collaborating with academics in USA, Germany, France, Denmark, and England in exploring issues related to the effective preparation of teachers of multicultural/multilingual learners.
